- One of the first sites I came across regarding the Shikoku Pilgrimage, this is one had a major influence on me. While it focuses primarily on how to travel the pilgrimage route rather than information about the pilgrimage route, it is quite good as an instruction guide. Take a look!
- A site organized and run by Dave Turkington. Filled with a large amount of useful information regarding all manner of topics on the pilgrimage route and the process of walking it. He also has a large number of links to other useful sites. In addition, he has compiled a list of henro from Japan and abroad who have stated they would be willing to discuss their experience. The people on this list were wonderful resources for me when I was conducting research.
- Run by Hiroshi Kushima, this is one of the best sites on the web regarding the Shikoku Pilgrimage. While the site's most useful information is entirely in Japanese, should one be able to read it, this is one of the best sites you could possibly want. I spent many an hour translating pages for their information. If you need anything, feel free to contact Mr. Kushima. He's always willing to help!
- Created by Tommi Mendel, the site acts as a presentation front for his video that he created regarding the Shikoku Pilgrimage. At the moment it is only available in PAL format with subtitles, but a NTSC format should be coming soon. One can purchase the dvd at his site.
